- Prof. Ndao from McGill University visited the University.
- Dr. Alison, an educational specialist from the Commonwealth Institute of learning, Canada visited the University to facilitate a workshop on e-learning. She also launched the WITED Koforidua University Chapter.
- Prof. Ofori of the North Carolina Agriculture and Technology University, USA visited the University to sign an MoU on areas of collaboration between the two institutions
