Matriculation Ceremony

Welcome to the KTU Academic Community

Matriculation is one of the most important milestones in the academic journey of every student at Koforidua Technical University (KTU). It is a formal ceremony during which newly admitted students are officially admitted into the University community and recognized as bona fide students of the institution.

The ceremony symbolizes the beginning of a student's academic life at KTU and serves as an opportunity to formally introduce students to the traditions, values, and responsibilities of university education.

Purpose of Matriculation

The Matriculation Ceremony is organized to:

Oath of Matriculation

Who Should Attend?

The Matriculation Ceremony is intended for:

1. All newly admitted undergraduate students.
2. Newly admitted postgraduate students, where applicable.
3. Students who have successfully completed the registration requirements prescribed by the University.

Attendance Requirement

Attendance at the Matriculation Ceremony is mandatory for all newly admitted students.

Every fresh student is expected to participate in the ceremony as it forms an important part of the admission process and official induction into the University.

Students who fail to attend the matriculation ceremony may not be recognized as fully matriculated students of the University and may be required to comply with additional directives issued by the Academic Affairs Directorate.

Before the Ceremony
