Scholarship and Financial Aid Opportunities

STEM Bursary Programme

In partnership with Zonta Club International, KTU offers the STEM Bursary Programme to support brilliant but financially disadvantaged female students pursuing programmes in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Female Science and Technology Scholarships

The University provides targeted scholarship opportunities aimed at encouraging female participation in science, engineering, and technology-related disciplines, particularly in fields where women remain underrepresented.

Financial Aid and Student Support

Through the Financial Aid Board (FAB) and other student support initiatives, KTU offers assistance to continuing students facing genuine financial difficulties or unforeseen financial challenges that may affect their studies.

External Scholarship Opportunities

Students are encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by external organisations and government agencies, including awards administered through the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat and other recognised funding institutions.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for scholarships and financial aid are generally required to:

1. Be a fully registered student of Koforidua Technical University.
2. Demonstrate genuine financial need.
3. Maintain satisfactory academic performance.
4. Comply with the specific requirements of the scholarship or financial aid scheme.
5. Not be benefiting from another major institutional scholarship, fee waiver, or tuition exemption, unless otherwise stated.
