Simon Amonovi is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Koforidua Technical University (KTU), Koforidua, Ghana. He is an emerging researcher and academic with expertise in telecommunications, wireless communications, and optical fibre communication systems.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Telecommunication Engineering from Koforidua Technical University. He further obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Telecommunication Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Telecommunication Engineering at KNUST.

Prior to joining academia, Mr. Amonovi worked as a Fibre Optics Maintenance Engineer, where he gained extensive industry experience in optical fibre network maintenance, fault detection, transmission systems, and field operations on major telecommunication networks in Ghana. His professional and research activities focus on advancing next-generation communication technologies, intelligent wireless systems, and optical network reliability through innovative engineering solutions.
