Academic Profile
Ms. Mavis Ako has over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience across Ghana’s education system. She is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Management Studies at Koforidua Technical University, teaching courses in Management, Human Resource Management, and Organisational Behaviour. She holds an MPhil in Organisational Leadership (UPSA, Accra), an MSc in Organisational Development (Strategic Human Resource Management) (UDS/CCOD), and is a Certified Organisation Development Consultant (Institute of Organisational Development, Florida, USA). She is currently pursuing a PhD in Management and Organisational Development at KNUST and is passionate about mentoring students and supporting young professionals in developing leadership skills, practical management knowledge, and ethical decision-making capabilities. In addition to her academic work, she has contributed to industry projects and professional training programs, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
