Management of Koforidua Technical University (KTU) on Thursday, October 1, 2026, hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Education.
The delegation was led by Dr. Emmanuel Newman, Director of Tertiary Education, and included Ms. Harriet Krakani, Deputy Director of Tertiary Education, and Assistant Programme Officers Ms. Dinah Obeng-Yeboah and Ms. Memuna Issa.
The visit forms part of the Ministry's broader stakeholder engagement to gain first-hand insight into developments in the technical and vocational education sector and to deepen partnerships for improved tertiary education delivery.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. John Owusu, who led the KTU team, welcomed the delegation and stated that the engagement provided an opportunity to share the University's achievements, challenges and areas requiring support.
Dr. Newman commended KTU's contribution to tertiary education and reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to deepening collaboration to enhance quality and effective implementation of government policies.
