Professional Profile

As a Senior Assistant Registrar and a Faculty Officer at Koforidua Technical University, I am dedicated to managing core academic, student and administrative operations in the university. With a proven track record as a mid-to-senior level administrator, I strive to bridge the gap between management, faculties, students and external bodies like the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).

  • BA Economics and Philosophy (University of Ghana, Legon)

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Dean in the management of the Faculty;
  • Assist the Dean to organize Faculty Board meetings;
  • Provide administrative support for the Faculty;
  • Supervise the administrative staff of the Faculty;
  • Liaise with Academic Affairs Division for registration, matriculation, and congregation ceremonies;
  • Assist the Dean in the administration of examination results in the Faculty;
  • Initiate the process for the renewal of appointments of staff and office holders in the Faculty;
  • Ensure regular maintenance of equipment in the Faculty;
  • Ensure the availability of adequate teaching aids for teaching and learning;
  • Liaise with the Registry for prompt dissemination of information to the Faculty;
  • Liaise with the Estate Section to ensure good sanitation at the Faculty Block;
  • Ensure the supply of logistics to the Departments and Administrative offices in the Faculty;
  • Prepare annual budget for the Faculty;
  • Collate staff data and prepare updates on staff on Study Leave, Secondment, Leave of Absence etc;
  • Receive and respond to students’ correspondences referred from the Dean’s Office;
  • Collect and analyse data on staff and students of the Faculty; and
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the appropriate authorities.
