Student Registration

Welcome to Koforidua Technical University (KTU)
All newly admitted and continuing students are required to complete the official registration process at the beginning of each academic semester.

Purpose of Registration

Student registration is essential for:

  • Confirming your student status at KTU
  • Granting access to academic services and resources (e.g., lecture attendance, exams, LMS)
  • Ensuring compliance with academic and administrative requirements

Registration Steps

1. Acceptance of Admission

  • Log in to the KTU Admissions Portal
  • Confirm your admission and print your admission letter

2. Payment of Fees

  • Pay the required tuition and administrative fees at any approved bank or via the KTU online payment portal
  • Keep a copy of your payment receipt for verification

3. Medical Examination

  • Visit the University Health Centre for your compulsory medical screening
  • Obtain a Medical Clearance Certificate

4. Online Course Registration

  • Access the Student Portal with your credentials
  • Register for courses under your assigned department
  • Print your Course Registration Slip and keep it safe

5. Biometric and ID Processing

  • Proceed to the Student Records Unit for biometric data capture and issuance of Student ID

6. Hostel Accommodation (Optional)

  • Apply for university accommodation if needed
  • Complete the Hostel Registration Form and pay applicable fees

Important Guidelines

  • Registration deadlines will be communicated on the university website and notice boards
  • Late registration attracts penalties and may lead to deferment
  • Registration is only valid after completing both medical and academic registration
  • Students must register within the first three weeks of the semester
