Dr. Ampaw holds a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering with specialization in Data Mining and Information Management from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). He earned his pre-doctoral degrees in Statistics and Economics in Ghana, laying the groundwork for his multifaceted approach to academia. His specialization in Data Mining and Information Management underscores his expertise in leveraging analytical data, statistics, and optimization principles to address complex systems. Dr. Ampaw served as an Assistant Instructor (2006) in the Applied Mathematics Department and subsequently, promoted as a Senior Lecturer in 2021.

Dr. Ampaw’s pedagogical expertise spans over a period of nineteen years (19) of lecturing at the tertiary level. It encompasses a diverse array of courses, showcasing his versatility and depth of knowledge. In particular, his teaching portfolio includes, Statistical Methods, Probability and Statistics, Multivariate Methods, Quantitative Methods, Demography, Engineering Mathematics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Data Mining, Business Analytics, Econometrics, and Official Statistics. Dr. Ampaw’s extensive teaching experience has been acquired through notable tenures at three universities in Ghana and beyond, contributing to the academic enrichment of several students.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Ampaw has played a pivotal role in the academic and professional development of students. His mentorship and supervision have guided numerous individuals at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering a legacy of scholarly excellence. Dr. Ampaw is the founder of ZigmaCloud7 Data Klinique, a center specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for scientific solutions. The center organizes research seminars, training and provides comprehensive support for aspiring researchers aiming to make a scholarly impact in academia and industry. Dr. Ampaw has attended a lot of research conferences and has significantly participated in the organization of some of them.

Dr. Ampaw has over forty (40) publications in revered journals and incredible readership. His research interests span various domains including, total Ecological and Human Health, Renewable Energy, Climate Change, International Trade (Regional Integration) and Sharing Economy. His publications, featured in esteemed and revered databases (Scopus, Web of Science and ScienceDirect) are receiving enormous attention in academic and professional milieu. Beyond Dr. Ampaw’s academic and research pursuits, he has a deep appreciation for imagination and curiosity. In light of this, he maintains a keen interest in unconventional topics, including extraterrestrial real estate. This reflects his broader passion for imagination and exploration, serving as a source of inspiration in both academic and personal realms.
