Koforidua Technical University (KTU) takes the integrity of its academic processes with the utmost seriousness. In accordance with the University’s Examination Regulations and the provisions of its Academic Policy Framework, the Office of the Registrar hereby gives public notice of students found culpable of examination malpractice during the Second Semester Examinations of the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

All reported cases were subjected to a thorough and impartial investigation by the University’s Examination Malpractice Committee, in strict compliance with established institutional regulations and examination policies. Affected students were formally notified of the outcomes of these investigations and given due opportunity to respond to the charges levelled against them before sanctions were applied.
Sanctions Applied (Uniform Across All Cases)
- Cancellation of the examination paper in which the malpractice was committed
- Rustication for one (1) full academic year, effective immediately
- Mandatory signing of a Bond of Good Behaviour prior to resumption of studies
All sanctioned students are expected to resume academic work at the commencement of the First Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, subject to fulfilment of the conditions stipulated above. Failure to comply with any of these conditions may result in further disciplinary action, up to and including permanent withdrawal from the University.
