Programme Overview
This programme aims to produce graduates who will make a significant contribution to the body of knowledge of the entire environmental, health, safety and risk management sector through research, and development, and the attainment of the requisite skills and techniques.
Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the MTech (Research) in Environmental Health and Safety, candidates must hold the following:
Bachelor’s degree (B-Tech./ B.A /BSc)
A first degree with a minimum of second-class lower division or better in relevant programmes such as Environmental Management & Technology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Allied Health related degrees. Students below the minimum of second class shall be required to pass an interview session.
Foreign Qualifications
All foreign qualifications would be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission to Koforidua Technical University (National Accreditation Board Act, 2007 [Act 744 (2(2b)]). All foreign applicants must note that the American SAT, TOEFL etc, cannot in themselves be acceptable as entry qualifications into Koforidua Technical University
