Previous The Students of the Departmenet of Management Studies Donate Projectors to KTU
The seminar, held on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, at the Abba Bentil Andam Theatre, provided a valuable platform for staff to engage in discussions on building resilience and maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.
Key discussions during the session centred on stress management, burnout prevention, substance misuse, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Participants were also sensitised on the importance of fostering mutual respect in the workplace and preventing all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment, within the University community.
Facilitators emphasised the need for staff to prioritise their mental well-being and adopt practical strategies for managing work-related pressures. The seminar also highlighted the role of institutions in creating supportive environments that promote psychological safety, inclusivity, and overall staff welfare.
The initiative forms part of the University’s broader commitment to enhancing staff well-being and strengthening a positive institutional culture. By organising such programmes, KTU continues to demonstrate its dedication to creating a supportive and healthy work environment that enables staff to perform effectively and contribute meaningfully to the University’s mission.
