KTU Enters Strategic Partnership with ILSMA for Leadership Development

Koforidua Technical University (KTU) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Institute of Leadership and Strategic Management—Africa (ILSMA) to provide practical training and strategic leadership development opportunities for professionals and emerging graduates.

The collaboration is aimed at equipping practitioners, administrators, directors, managers, and young graduates with relevant leadership and management skills required to effectively navigate today’s dynamic professional and organizational environments. Through this partnership, both institutions seek to bridge the gap between theory and practice while promoting excellence in leadership and strategic decision-making.

Under the partnership arrangement, KTU and ILSMA will jointly offer certificate programmes in diverse fields, including law, business, health and safety, and marketing, among others. These programmes will be delivered at a competitive cost and are designed to meet the evolving needs of individuals and organizations across various sectors.

In line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the University campus, the two institutions have also committed to developing and delivering customised short courses at all levels of professional development. These courses are intended to enhance the leadership capabilities of participants while contributing meaningfully to organizational growth and national development in Ghana.

The partnership underscores KTU’s innovative and forward-looking approach to addressing local, national, and global challenges through capacity building, industry collaboration, and practical skills development.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by key dignitaries from both institutions, including:
