Tribute From KTU In Honour Of The Eight Patriots Who Perished In The Helicopter Crash Of August 6, 2025

With hearts weighed down by sorrow, the Koforidua Technical University community joins the entire nation in mourning the tragic loss of eight (8) gallant souls who made the ultimate sacrifice in line of service to Ghana in the recent air crash.

Their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the mission they undertook will forever inspire generations. They fell in the line of duty, safeguarding the future of our land and standing as true examples of patriotism.

Though their earthly journey has ended, their legacy, service, and the love they shared remain etched in the hearts of all who knew them. In their respective fields, they stood as pillars of dedication, courage, and commitment, their work touching lives and shaping a future they will no longer see but helped to build.

Though their voices are now silent, the echoes of their service will resound in our hearts. They have left an enduring legacy of loyalty, unity, and love for country. We will remember them not for the tragedy of their passing, but for the light of their lives. Each was a beacon, inspiring colleagues, friends, and family with their compassion, excellence, and quiet strength.

In this dark hour, we extend our deepest condolences to their families, colleagues, friends, and all affected by this devastating loss. May the Almighty grant their souls eternal rest, and may their memories forever be a guiding light for our nation and continue to inspire hope, unity, and the pursuit of a better tomorrow.

Rest well, heroes of Ghana.

Your lives were a blessing, your memories a treasure, and your absence deeply felt.
