Mr. Edward Godwill Ofosuapea is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professional serving as an Assistant Systems Analyst in the ICT Directorate of Koforidua Technical University (KTU). He has technical expertise in telecommunications engineering, audiovisual systems, computer hardware and software, public address systems, and technical support services.

In his current role, Mr. Ofosuapea provides essential technical and audiovisual support for the University's academic, administrative, and institutional activities. He is responsible for managing and supporting the University's public address (PA) systems, including the provision, setup, and maintenance of microphones, batteries, and portable sound systems for regular and weekend classes, meetings, and official university programmes.

He also supports teaching and learning through the provision and setup of multimedia projectors and other audiovisual equipment, ensuring that lecturers and students have access to the necessary technological resources for effective classroom instruction and presentations.

Beyond classroom support, Mr. Ofosuapea contributes to the University's digital communication and institutional documentation activities through photography and videography. He provides photographic and video coverage of major university events, including Applied Research and International Conferences, congregation ceremonies, matriculation ceremonies, orientation programmes for newly admitted students, and other official institutional activities.

Mr. Ofosuapea holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology from All Nations University and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Telecommunication Engineering from Koforidua Technical University. He also possesses professional certificates in VSAT Field Engineering from Q-Kon, South Africa; Computer Hardware and Software from Emmalec Computer Institute; and General Electricals from the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI). His academic and technical qualifications provide a strong foundation in information technology, telecommunications, technical systems support, and ICT service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Public Address Systems Management: Providing, setting up, and supporting public address systems, microphones, batteries, and portable sound equipment for regular and weekend classes, meetings, and university events.
2. Teaching and Learning Support: Providing and setting up multimedia projectors and audiovisual equipment to facilitate lectures, presentations, and academic activities.
3. Photography and Videography: Providing official photographic and video coverage of university programmes, ceremonies, conferences, and other institutional activities.
4. Technical Support: Assisting with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audiovisual and related ICT equipment.
5. Event Technology Support: Supporting the technical and audiovisual requirements of university conferences, congregation ceremonies, matriculation ceremonies, orientation programmes, and other official events.
