Applied Research Funds
The Directorate has always encouraged its faculty, research staff and students to actively involve themselves in research activities. It has been forthcoming in providing applied research funds, financial support and sponsorship of research activities.
External Funding Opportunities
The Directorate links up with funding organisations in order to generate funds for grant proposals and research. Researchers are privileged to benefit from external resource funding to ensure quality in the conduct of research.

Support for writing and administering grants
Proposal and grants administration is one of the Directorate's four thematic areas. Staff and students preparing an application can approach the Directorate for guidance on sourcing funds, drafting the proposal and administering the grant once awarded.
