Academic Profile
MLT Ruth Tetteh is the Head of Laboratory at the KTU Clinic, holding the rank of Senior Technical Officer.
She previously served as a Phlebotomist with the KTU Medical Screening Team from November 2016 to April 2021, as a Technical Officer (Laboratory) at New Abirem Government Hospital from January to October 2020, and as an intern at the Cocoa Clinic, Accra, from September 2018 to August 2019.
She is a member of the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (GAMLS) and the Medical Laboratory Professionals Workers Union (MELPWU). Her additional training includes the World Health Organization COVID-19 Response IDSR Cohort 1 Training (October–December 2020), Laboratory Informatics with the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Laboratory Systems (May–June 2020), and Integration of Mental Health into Primary Healthcare with the Ghana National Association of Community Mental Officers (July 2021).
