Mr Sem Yaw Oteng (CEO of SASEM group Limited)
Sem Yaw Oteng, the CEO of SASEM Group Limited, has about 42 employees under his leadership. He is a product of Koforidua Technical University, where he studied HND marketing. One of his greatest moments during his time at the university was his participation in the inter-polytechnic games, where he won so many trophies in table tennis. From a humble beginning as a media buyer, Sem has touched so many lives in diverse ways and continues to do so with SASEM Group Limited.
SASEM Group Limited, formerly also known as SASEM Enterprise and SASEM Pharmaceuticals, is the producer of Freshman and Freshladi capsules, Freshkoo capsules, Fresh Herbal Mixture, and KANA Herbal Mixture. SASEM Group offers life band services for funerals, parties, crusades, and many other events. The company runs a printing house where they do embroidery and screen printing, as well as a host of pharmaceutical shops in and around the Greater Accra Region and the Central Region. Sammy has produced a wide range of herbal medicines, such as the famous Freshladi and Freshman capsules. These drugs are used for a wide range of medical conditions and diseases such as candidiasis, menstrual pain, menstrual disorders, low libido, male vitality, prostate enlargement, sexual weakness, and premature ejaculation.
Freshkoo capsules designed for piles, waste pains, and general body pains, as well as Fresh Herbal Mixture, an immune booster specially recommended for high blood pressure patients and diabetic patients, were developed under the leadership of Mr. Yaw Oteng. SASEM Group produces one of the best herbal medicines known as KANA herbal mixture for malaria treatment. These are a few outstanding achievements of the Koforidua Technical University’s alma mater, Mr. Sem Yaw Oteng. His passion for helping others, never giving up and his astute business mindset has made him a source of hope and an inspiration to all, especially students at the university, to reach for their dreams and make it in life.
Aside from being an alumnus of Koforidua Technical University, Mr. Sem Yaw Oteng is a product of New Abirem Secondary School (NASS) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He is an elder of the Church of Pentecost.
Mr. Sem Yaw is a former employee of Multimedia Group Limited, a radio marketing professional, and a member of the Radio Advertising Bureau. He has a beautiful wife, Sarah Oteng, two gorgeous daughters, and a son, namely Nhyira Oteng, Nkunim Oteng, and Sem Oteng Junior, respectively. He is a former board member of New Abirem Secondary School and is currently the old student’s president and the life board chairman of Fedems Consult Limited.
